ABOUT sney

Sneha (sney) is a professional dancer, choreographer, and dance teacher with a lifelong passion for movement and storytelling. She began training at the age of 4 in classical kathak under the guidance of renowned gurus such as Prashant Shah and pooja Bathad. Over the years, her style has evolved to include Semiclassical Kathak, Garba, Femme, Bollywood Fusion, and Items, all of which she now teaches in workshops across NYC, Long Island, and New Jersey.

With over a year of professional workshop experience and many more years of teaching behind her doing private lessons, wedding choreography, etc, Sneha has taught more than 40 workshops in the past year alone — each one marked by intentional choreography, narrative depth, and her signature energy. During college, she danced competitively on a nationally recognized Raas team, earning multiple first-place titles, and was also a member of a K-pop hip-hop fusion team.

Sneha has graced stages such as Carnegie Hall and NJPAC, and has worked alongside celebrated artists such as Ganesh Acharya, Sonali Bhadauria, Sunidhi Chauhan, Tushar Shetty, and so many more. She also appeared in the Bollywood film Pintu Ki Pappi as a backup dancer to Shushant Thamke and Jaanyaa Joshi. 

Known for her versatility and warmth, Sneha continues to inspire students and audiences alike through every performance and class she leads.
